Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area
Situated on high-desert country in Wyoming, the park's terrain changes into a spectacular rugged mountain area once inside Utah. Juniper and pinyon, lodgepole and ponderosa pine blanket the landscape in a dense green cover. Wild Horse Corrals
Over 1,500 wild horses still run free in southwest Wyoming. Often found east of Rock Springs along I-80, the best viewing is along the west side of U.S. Highway 191, roughly 28 miles north of Rock Springs. Call 307-352-0256 for more information.
