Big Springs
Flowing at a rate of approximately 2,575 gallons per minute at 135 degrees Fahrenheit, Big Springs in the world's largest mineral hot spring. Colorful cooling pools surround the springs dropping water of terraces down to the Bighorn River. A path circles around the terraces leading to a scenic swinging bridge.
Hellie's Tepee Spa

Hot Springs County Museum
This museum is located 1 block west of the traffic light. Besides the main museum which has a main floor and basement there is also an annex across the street. Hot Springs State Park
Lots of grass, trees, walking paths dart this state park, but it's most famous for having the largest hot springs in the world flowing at 2,500 gallons of 135 degree water per minute.
Old West Wax Museum
Opened in August 1999, the Old West Wax Museum is a unique blend of history, folklore and folk crafts. Its appeal is timeless and ageless. Petroglyphs
25 miles West of Thermopolis is Legend Rock. This Petroglyph site is maintained by the State of Wyoming. These Petroglyphs date back hundreds of years.
State Bath House
Fed by the springs, this is a great place for a relaxing soak. Entry is free and the facilities are very clean. Towels and swimsuits can be rented and there are lockers to store clothing. Call 307-864-3765 for more information.
Thermopolis Golf Course
This is located next to the airport and just East of Roundtop. It has 9 holes and is somewhat hilly. Carts are available during season (April-Sept).
Wind River Canyon
The Canyon is located 6 miles South of Thermopolis on WY Hwy 20. The canyon is 14 miles in length and the Big Horn river flows through it. Geologically, the canyon is about 3 billion years old at the South end and 300 million years old at the North end.
Wyoming Dinosaur Center
Journey back in time with dynamic displays featuring dinosaurs from all around the world. See the entire paleontological process, from excavation to preparation.
